ecosomatic dances & traditional knowledges in Teotihuacan, Mexico City & Denton. Performances with Danza Chikawa and Texas Woman’s University Dance Division IDC company. This evening work is part of the research Water Sources as Embodied Archives. It is a collaboration between Adesola Akinleye, Elisa De La Rosa and Danza Chikawa supported by TWU Creative Arts and Humanities Grand. The project emerged from a shared concern about the effect building and mining have had on the water tables and water quality globally (with a focus on Teotihuacan, Mexico City and Denton).
